Atif Aslam and Strings Cricket Anthem

Atif Aslam & Strings to Sing ICC Cricket World Cup Anthem for Pakistan

Pakistan music sensation Atif Aslam and pop rock band Strings have teamed up to make the Pakistan cricket teams’s official anthem for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

The song will feature Atif Aslam, Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia, Javed Miandad, Adnan Siddiqui, Sumbul Iqbal, Adnan Malik and Uzma Khan among many others.

The song will fill the hearts of Pakistan cricket fans with patriotism during the upcoming World Cup matches.

This is not the first time Strings is making a cricket anthem for Pakistan cricket team. Previously, they have sung famous World Cup anthem in 2003 called ‘Hai Koi Hum Jaisa’. It was a great hit even though Pakistan couldn’t even make it to the semi-finals.

Atif Aslam, on the other hand has quite some experience doing patriotic and cricket related song. He has sung a song for Indo-Pak series called ‘Khel Rahe Hum Rangon Mein’.

“Ab Khud Kuch Karna Paray Gaa” is a successful past collaboration of Atif Aslam and Strings.

The Pakistan Cricket Anthem is sponsored by Coca Cola.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will start from 14th February 2015, in Australia and New Zealand.
